I just simply cannot belive this!Well first of all I need to tell you that I am an English teacher for a language school, which is quite great! I love the kids I teach... but when I need to handle and work with parents it's like stepping into a dangerous place you actually won't be...
Today I had to go to a small village to teach, and I have about 30 kids there... Every time when we have parents at my class, the kids are going crazy! Even those who are cute, nice and obidient onces became absolutely and totally freaks!
Why is that?
I have a thing in my class I usually do: I keep encouraging the kids, and telling them in what they great at, and if something isn't working out right for some of them, then I just skip, and I try to find something else, just to make sure they leave the class with a positive experience!
Today as I had the relatives and the parents in the class I had to listen to ALL the negative talking and speech they gave to their OWN kids!
"Look at little Pistike! Look how smart he is, but you are sooo dumm my little devil!"
How can they talk to their OWN kids like that??? HOW???
I was almost crying because of that, and I hugged these kids, and told them: you were great in my eyes, and let me tell you: their eyes started to shine again!!!
You know because of that I'm not even suprised why most of the people have a bad or worse picture about God the Father! Because if the earthly fathers, and mothers are acting like this, what are they going to expect from God? The same... and whenever you tell them: He's not like them, it's so hard to recieve...
*Daddy! Keep this kids, and let them see, that you're not like that at all!!!*

VálaszTörlésamikor olvastam kirázott a hideg és kicsurdult a könnyem. :( közben elgondolkodtam azon, hogy ugye 'valahol meg van írva' hogy tiszteljük az idősebbeket.. és a fiatalabbakat? ha így bánnak a gyerekeikkel, akkor ne csodálkozzanak hogy iskolás korukban nem fogják tisztelni a saját szüleiket.. én nap mint nap hallom hogy a korombeli emberek mennyire a sárga földig hordják le a szüleiket.. (biztos még nem vesztették el egyik szülőjüket sem, hál' Istennek!!) szóval ha a kezdetektől nem tiszteljük a gyerekeket akkor mit várjunk a következő generációtól?! :((( mindenesetre nagyonnagyonnagyon sok kitartást, erőt és szeretetet kívánok a továbbiakhoz! :) (bár tudom hogy nem szokásod..)..de ne add fel! :) eljön még az az idő amikor jobb szülők nevelik majd a gyerekeket! :))) i hope i help^^ (L)
kedves tőled Toma, köszi, de nem hiszem, hogy reménytelen a helyzet... csak elkeserít, amikor ilyet látok, és jobban megértem, hogy a fiatalok miért olyanok, amilyenek... de tudod ott van a másik oldal is: hogy milyen gyerekkoruk volt ezeknek a szülőknek, hogy ilyenné váltak??? hisz tudod hogy van amondás: azt adod tovább, amit elültettek benned...
